Advocacy and Activism

We speak

Loud, deep, strong, proud, and ancient.

After being

Marginalized, disenfranchised, humiliated, gaslit, and targeted.

WHERE to start with Advocacy and Activism?

And WHY either, anyway?

― Riley, C. (2024). Black Liturgies: Prayers, Poems, and Meditations for Staying Human.

Start by questioning:

"What is going on?"
"Why is it happening?"

What's going on? (Examine)

Obfuscated Truths → Entropic Life

The disenfranchisement, marginalization, and suppression tactics of perpetrators of inaccurate 'history' has been an intentional effort to try and control a narrative of life.

Why is it happening? (Critique)

Systematizing Confusion and Ignorance → Controlling and Continuing Illusion

Colonization for control. Colonizing a narrative, making it one's own falsely, and even creating lies that invert the truth or corroborate imitation is about controlling the minds and thereby they ways of life by harnessing and directing the incredible power of the human resource.

Deceiving and misleading what is in mind - the thinking.

To create a new way of life, continued to be controlled simply by narrative, as artificial or obscure as it may be.

Returning to the truths, our truths.

Rejuvenating our spirit with the rejuvenating spirit of truth through storytelling and a foundation to 'stand on.' From lies to truth, regaining control of self.

Imagine if...

Columbus Day → Indigenous People's Day

[Imagine if] people were never told lies, manipulated, or coerced to believe in false realities? Original inhabitants of land and their governance sovereignly, righteously, and dedicatedly maintained a system of peace and harmony which was sustainable and flourishing for the entire ecosystem inhabiting our abundant Mother Earth.

North America → Turtle Island

[Imagine if] North America (and the world moreover) was not sought to be owned and master-controlled by corporations, families, or secret societies, otherwise wickedness in high places. Instead of living 'on' a planet with resources to control dominantly over other species, humanity shared a vision like Turtle Island where we work together to live 'with' Mother Earth and her inhabitants.

Gregorian Calendar → 13 moons, 28 days

[Imagine if] instead of disharmoniously trying to align our natural rhythm to inconsistent human-made devices, we lived a sacred and geometric rhythm of life that created a well-known pattern for sustaining life in harmony amongst the ecosystem of Mother Nature and her inhabitants.

Mechanical clock → The Sun

[Imagine if] we lived in alignment with the natural event of the sun rising and setting, and calculated our movements based on that which is accessible to all. Rather, instead of moving robotically or otherwise artificially and thereby reducing the human experience to a finite human-made system, we move naturally to the divine rhythm of nature, amongst Mother Earth and all of her inhabitants.

Stand on truth, a collective and harmonious foundation and not an illusion (a false, fake, fallible, or fallacious foundation) that we care for collectively, for our generations to actually be free rather than be under illusions, a dream spell, if you will. While, rather than dreaming a colonizer's dream, we get to live.

So, why Advocacy and Activism?

We are, represent, and hold the truth.

We are the original people...

Advocating Truth Harmonious Life

Actively Creating Producing Remembrance

Remember and remind, (awakening from a colonial, colonialist, or a colonizer's dreamspell)

Blissful Ignorance → Generational Woes

Knowledge and Wisdom → Self-actualizing Power

Decolonizing narratives, our tongue therefore creations, and thereby our ways of interacting in the world and with the world around us - is our advocacy and activism, until it's over and we are back (and fully in control of self, harmoniously in a symbiotic relationship of a culture of care to live with Mother Earth and all of her inhabitants).

Language shapes thought, thought shapes language, and
we think and speak our world into existence...

Our Right

and

Our Duty

It is not only our right, but our duty to uphold the truths of life for the sake of our ancestors and all our generations to be and remain protected by the umbrella of reality rather than falsehood from colonialism by colonizing efforts of manipulation, coercion, and fallacy of control to decontrol by narratives.

Since the efforts of colonialism and colonization manipulated, coerced, and forced our ancestors from our lands and our way of life, the whole world has suffered immensely and unnecessarily.

Once residing on homelands extending from Western Connecticut to Eastern Pennsylvania, and from the Northern bank of the Raritan River North to Albany N.Y., inhabiting all boroughs of of what is now Manhattan N.Y., we were the custodians of what is now the Hudson River amongst the broad Ramapo Mountain river valley, otherwise known as ‘the Pass’ who maintained a harmony of life as we are of the ecosystem with the capacity to serve the ecosystem with our skills.

We worked together with fellow indigenous communities, as we were collectively all one humanity interconnected equitably with the creator and operated in such a one organic consciousness for human stewardship on our Mother Earth for us and all inhabitants.

'Land back' and native language courses are - but not the only - routes to sovereignty, autonomy, and moreover reclaiming our truths - the truths of life - that allow for harmony experienced amongst humanity whilst living in alignment with Mother Nature and her inhabitants all by the chiming spirit of our collective divine creator. Telling our story, advocating loud, deep, strong, proud, and ancient is also compulsory to overcome the colonial sludge occupying the mental plane, by replacing such atrocious mind states through rebuilding the human resource with knowledge to think, speak, actively create, and then live in liberation - from shackles to freedom.

Carry the spirit, on and on.
